Job Summary:
The Medical Surgical Floor (MS) registered nurse position is located in Tallahassee, Florida. The role involves providing care on an oncology med-surg unit with a focus on the Angie Deeb Cancer Unit. This position requires floating to various units within the med-surg division, adherence to a consistent day shift schedule, and the ability to meet the specific unit needs. The ideal candidate will have prior travel experience and a minimum of two years of clinical experience, including phlebotomy skills.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Dayshift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: BLS and Florida license or compact license, ACLS and bio/Chemotherapy certifications (preferred), at least 1 prior travel assignment, minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, phlebotomy experience required, EPIC training during orientation with testing opportunities
• Preferred Qualifications: ACLS and bio/Chemotherapy certifications
• Float: Float rotation may be required
• Additional Information: No local candidates within a 50-mile radius; block scheduling not available; no holiday RTO or more than 7 consecutive days of RTO allowed unless approved by management; weekend work required; no travel pairs for multiple units unless specifically requested by the facility
