Ultrasound Tech

Our client, a leading health system in Dodge City, KS, is seeking an Ultrasound Tech to join their Diagnostic Imaging Center. This is a full-time position that offers a competitive hourly wage.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality patient care to all patients within the medical imaging department.
• Perform high-quality images and exams on patients while maintaining sensitivity to patient needs.
• Demonstrate leadership abilities and act as a role model for other associate technologists.
• Serve as a clinical resource to unit personnel and ensure current standards of practice for the unit.

Requirements

• One year of ultrasound experience strongly preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate's Degree strongly preferred; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• ARDMS registered required (RDMS(OB/GYN) or (AB) or (BR)); or ARRT registered (R.T.(S)(ARRT) or R.T.(S)(BS)(ARRT) or ARDMS registered RVT(VT) with OB or ABD required within 1 year of hire; or ARRT registered - R.T.(S)(VS)(ARRT); or ARDMS registered RDCS(AE) or (PE) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (RCS).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association required.
• Physical ability to exert up to 50 lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs constantly.

Schedule

• Full-time position with a shift that varies.

Compensation

• $28.81 - $43.59/hour
