Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Services

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Emergency Services department. Responsibilities Include Providing specialized nursing care in a fast-paced emergency environment for acutely ill patients. Utilizing clinical judgment, critical thinking, and prioritization skills across a diverse patient population. Performing procedures within the scope of practice set by the Iowa State Board of Nursing. Collaborating with ED techs and secretaries in an 18-bed unit with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited nursing program with a current RN license in Iowa or a Compact State. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications within six months of hire. Recent RN experience; preferred experience includes Medical/Surgical, Critical Care, ER, or Psychiatry. Skills And Attributes Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, time management, and prioritization skills.
