Project Manager - Medical Affairs (Director Level)

Hi. I'm Adithya from Novozen. We're hiring a Project Manager Medical Affairs (Director/Associate Director Level). We're seeking experienced candidates with strong project management expertise in Medical Affairs, strategic planning, and cross-functional program execution within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry. Experience with medical congresses, advisory boards, evidence generation, medical operations, and product launch initiatives is a plus.

Job Title: Project Manager Medical Affairs (Director/Associate Director Level)
Location: Remote

Key Responsibilities:
Lead end-to-end project management for strategic Medical Affairs initiatives and cross-functional programs.
Develop and manage project plans, timelines, milestones, deliverables, risks, and dependencies.
Coordinate stakeholders across Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, Regulatory, Compliance, Commercial, and other teams.
Support strategic planning, annual plans of action (POAs), resource planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
Coordinate advisory boards, medical congresses, medical education programs, evidence generation, and product launch activities.
Develop project dashboards, status reports, and leadership updates to track progress and communicate project performance.
Ensure compliance with company policies, healthcare regulations, documentation requirements, and applicable standards.
Identify process improvement opportunities and drive operational efficiency across Medical Affairs programs.
Manage multiple priorities and ensure projects are delivered on time and aligned with strategic objectives.
Facilitate cross-functional collaboration, stakeholder alignment, and timely decision-making.

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Healthcare, Business Administration, or a related field, with relevant project/program management experience; alternatively, an advanced degree with 8+ years of relevant experience.
Demonstrated experience managing complex, cross-functional projects within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, or life sciences industry.
Strong project management, strategic planning, organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Experience managing project timelines, milestones, risks, deliverables, and executive-level reporting.
Proficiency with project management tools, dashboards, and reporting systems.
Experience in Medical Affairs, Medical Operations, or Clinical Development is highly preferred.
Exposure to evidence generation, advisory boards, medical congress planning, product launches, or therapeutic area strategic planning is a plus.
PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, or equivalent project management certification is preferred.
Advanced degree such as MBA, MPH, MS, PharmD, or PhD is preferred.
Ability to work effectively with senior leadership and cross-functional teams in a dynamic pharmaceutical environment.
