Job Title: Obstetrics & Gynecology (OBGYN) Physician

Relocation to Alamogordo, New Mexico — Relocation assistance of  $100,000 will be provided.

Practice Highlights

• Established team of 2 OBGYN physicians and 1 GYN specialist
• 70% OB / 30% GYN with opportunity to grow GYN services
• 20–26 patients per day per provider
• Average 20–40 deliveries per month
• Approximately 20–30 surgeries per month (including hysterectomy, salpingectomy, oophorectomy, etc.)
• 10–14 new patients per week

Candidate Requirements

• Board Eligible or Board Certified in OB/GYN
• Open to both new graduates and experienced physicians
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
• Interest in practicing in a rural/community-based setting
• Willingness to grow gynecology services
• DaVinci training preferred (not required)
• Spanish-speaking is a plus (not required)

Schedule & Call

• Clinic hours:
• • Monday–Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Friday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
• Call: Approximately 7 days per month (varies based on provider count)
• Rounding: Morning and evening on call days

Facilities & Resources

• Modern clinic with:
• • 14 private exam rooms
  • Procedure room and NST room
  • 2 in-house ultrasound rooms
  • In-house lab draw services
• Hospital features:
• • 5 LDR rooms + triage unit
  • 11 mother/baby rooms
  • 4 operating rooms + surgery center
• Equipment includes:
• • Colposcopy, LEEP, Endosee, fetal monitoring tools

Support Staff

• 4 Certified Medical Assistants (CMAs)
• 2 Registered Nurses (including clinical coordinator)
• 2 Ultrasound Technicians
• High-Risk OB Coordinator
• NP support and administrative staff

Clinical Scope

• Full-scope OB/GYN practice including:
• • Routine and high-volume OB care
  • Gynecologic surgeries (LAVH, TAH, slings, etc.)
  • Office-based procedures (LEEP, D&C, etc.)
• Opportunity to perform VBACs
• Access to weekly Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) support

Technology

• EMR Systems:
• • Athena (clinic)
  • Cerner (hospital)
  • Epic transition planned (2026)
