Our client, a respected and growing HVAC contractor serving the Newark, Delaware area, is seeking an experienced Senior HVAC Installer to join their team. Responsibilities

• Install residential and light commercial HVAC systems including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, ductless mini-splits, boilers, air handlers, and indoor air quality equipment
• Read and interpret blueprints, installation drawings, and manufacturer specifications
• Install and modify ductwork as required
• Perform equipment startups, testing, and commissioning
• Ensure all installations meet local building codes and manufacturer standards
• Troubleshoot installation issues and provide effective solutions in the field
• Communicate professionally with homeowners, builders, and project managers
• Complete job documentation accurately and on time
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Mentor and assist junior installers as needed

Qualifications

• 5+ years of residential and/or commercial HVAC installation experience
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems, refrigeration cycle, airflow, and duct design
• Experience installing high-efficiency heating and cooling equipment
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and mechanical drawings
• EPA Universal Certification preferred
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to lift 75 pounds and work in attics, crawl spaces, rooftops, and varying weather conditions
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Dependable, self-motivated, and detail-oriented

Preferred Experience

• Heat pumps and inverter technology
• Variable-speed equipment
• Mini-split systems
• Sheet metal fabrication
• Gas furnaces and boilers
• IAQ products including humidifiers, air cleaners, and UV systems
• NATE Certification is a plus
