Job Description Job Description Job Title : Mechanical Repair Assembler Type of Role : Contract to Hire Shift / Hours: 1st(6:00AM to 2:30PM) 2nd Shift (2:00PM to 10:30PM) Location: Carrollton, TX Hourly Range: $16.00/hr- $16.80/hr Job Purpose: Assemble Electro-Mechanical Assemblies per specifications and inspect complex electrical/electronic subassemblies or assemblies. Nature of Duties: · Read, comprehend, interpret & follow basic work instructions, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, & other written instructions. Follow established procedures to accurately assemble products · Assembles components by mechanically fastening parts and subassemblies · Mechanical type assembly using hand tools and power tools · Working with various sized materials from heavy parts to small intricate parts · Identify product defects and report on to appropriate personnel · Keep accurate records/logs etc. · Handling of ESD sensitive materials and equipment · Perform other related duties as assigned Education and Experience: · High School Diploma or equivalent required · 0 – 1 years experience, training is provided · A strong mechanical aptitude. · Experience with hand tools such as ratchets, wrenches, battery and pneumatic operated tools. · Ability to stand for long periods of time, safely lift up to 20 pounds on a regular basis and ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds (with assistance if required). · Basic computer skills – email, work instructions. · Attention to detail. · Good command of the English language, both written and verbal. Physical Demands: Required to sit and/or stand for extended periods in a manufacturing environment; talk and hear in person; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects or controls; reach with hands and arms. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, color vision and the ability to adjust focus.
