Hill Engineer
Global Connect Technologies
We are seeking a skilled Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) Engineer to design, develop, and maintain HIL simulation environments for validation and testing of embedded control systems. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with dSPACE HIL systems, Beckhoff PLC platforms, and model-based development tools to support automotive, aerospace, industrial automation, or EV projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain HIL test benches for system and software validation.
- Configure and operate dSPACE HIL platforms, including real-time simulation environments.
- Design and implement automated test cases and test scripts.
- Integrate ECUs, sensors, actuators, and communication networks into HIL setups.
- Work with Beckhoff PLCs for automation, control, and test bench integration.
- Develop PLC logic using TwinCAT and perform debugging and troubleshooting.
- Create plant models using MATLAB/Simulink for real-time execution.
- Execute validation activities and analyze test results.
- Support verification and validation (V&V) activities throughout the development lifecycle.
- Collaborate with software, controls, systems, and test engineers.
- Generate test reports, validation documentation, and traceability matrices.
- Ensure compliance with applicable quality and functional safety standards.
