Repair Technician

Location 1130 Ashwaubenon Street,Green Bay, WI, 54304,United States Employee Type FT Non-Exempt POSITION SUMMARY The primary duties include but are not limited to the safe repair of hydraulic cylinders or related component parts, including diagnostic troubleshooting, disassembly, measurement, data collection, failure analysis, repair, reassembly, and testing. Includes the proper use of mechanical and fluid power testing and measuring equipment and documentation of results. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Disassemble and inspect hydraulic cylinders, pumps, motors, and valves Repair pumps, valves, motors, and cylinders as related to our business, per customer request Test and inspect hydraulic pumps, valves, cylinders, etc. Troubleshoot mobile and industrial equipment and systems Troubleshoot basic electrical circuits as they pertain to hydraulic controls Read hydraulic schematics Install hydraulic components onto in-house or on-site customer equipment Use measuring devices, calculators, myriad hand tools, torque tools, and various other tools to service equipment Perform onsite maintenance and repair of customers' equipment Professionally interact with customers to determine service issues Provides technical support, as necessary, to all departments and customers Work dutifully with the general manager to support the efficient and accurate quoting and billing of repair & service work Keep chronological records of service activity to include each service step, evaluation of system or component, parts request and installation, repairs, completions, and tests/certifications Attends various safety certification classes and seminars as required Shop maintenance, including cleaning, organizing, trash removal, and securing valuables during non-working hours Support the Kundinger Quality Control process through compliance with the Quality Management requirements, customer focus, and continual improvement.
