Number of Staff: 10-11 staff per day in cath lab

Type of staff: Mix of RNs and cardiovascular technologists

Patient Ratios: 3 staff per room

Type of equipment: GE X-ray/MacLab EMR Meditech

Typical hiring profile:

Skill Set: Must have experience working in an interventional cardiac cath lab

Preferred or nice to have: Experience working in a high-volume lab handling complex cases

List typical procedures performed on unit(s): Diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations, Impella, balloon-pump, Peripheral cases, Complex PCIs, Occasional devices

Best personality fit: Easy-going, kind, friendly, Able to work in a fast-paced, busy lab

Required Certifications: RN, RT

Floating Area(s): None

Dress Code: Scrub Color/Attire Light blue (hospital will provide)

Unit Guidelines/Policies: Act professional and attendance is vital. Able to report to hospital within 30 minutes of call-back

Weekends and On call (if any): On call some weekends and week days
