Physical Therapist - School Setting in Riverside, CA

Key Qualifications: Current California Physical Therapist license required Prior experience in California school settings is essential Flexible with traveling between sites; reliable transportation necessary Experience supervising Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) or willingness to do so Strong communication skills; bilingual Spanish speakers given preference Ability to manage diverse caseloads and adapt to changing schedules Highly organized with strong documentation and reporting skills Primary Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students physical therapy needs Develop individualized treatment plans and therapy goals for students, collaborating with educational teams Provide direct therapy services in group and one-on-one settings, adapting to a variety of student needs Supervise and support PTAs in delivery of direct services Travel to multiple sites as assigned, meeting schedules efficiently and responsibly Maintain accurate records and prepare required documentation according to district and state standards This role offers the satisfaction of supporting students growth and independence within a supportive school community.
