Food Service Supervisor - Truman Medical Center (Varied Shifts) 101 Truman Medical Center University Health 4 (UH4) Kansas City, Missouri Department: Food Service UHTMC Position Type: Full time Work Schedule: varied Hours Per Week: 40 Job Description Supervise all phases of activity for Food Service Assistants, KAT students, volunteers and other assigned persons. Manage and supervise catering services. Is responsible for overall safety and sanitation for the New Frontiers and Healing Canvas Cafe. Interview, hire, counsel, and discipline employees, students and volunteers. Monitor quality assurance and control activities. Work under minimal supervision. Minimum Requirements High school diploma or the equivalent. Possess and maintain a current City of Kansas City, MO, City of Independence, Jackson County, or Clay County Food Handler's Permit. Two years of experience in a food service job. Demonstrated ability to lead a team. Good written and verbal communications skills to communicate with staff and administration to respond to information requests.
