About the Position

Job Title

Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist – Afternoons

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Afternoon Shift (8-Hour Shifts)

Key Responsibilities

• Perform primary diagnostic CT and general radiology procedures, including IV insertion and contrast injections, requiring independent judgment and critical thinking.
• Operate and troubleshoot CR, DR, CT, and PACS applications; demonstrate proficiency with HIS and RIS computer systems.
• Provide proper patient care in accordance with departmental and facility policies and procedures.
• Practice infection control in compliance with departmental, hospital, and OSHA standards, and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
• May assume supervisory or instructional responsibilities for department personnel as directed by Lead Technologist or department management.
• Complete annual mandatory education requirements including bloodborne pathogens, infection control, and body substance isolation.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of current, hands-on CT experience required.
• ARRT (CT) Certification required.
• Active Massachusetts Radiology License required.
• Active American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Certification required.
• CT Skills Checklist current within the past year required.
• One supervisory signed reference from within the past two years of employment required.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Meditech Expanse highly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to function independently and proficiently in a high-stress, work-intensive environment.
• General X-ray experience in addition to CT is strongly preferred.
