In this position...

• This role establishes a foundational data architecture for sourcing, connecting, and maintaining Ford Racing customer knowledge - creating a single source of truth, and synthesizing it into a point of view the business can act on

Responsibilities

What you'll do...

• Source, connect and maintain a single source of truth for customer data across all touchpoints (vehicle sales, parts, services, merchandise, experiences, and events)
• Partner cross-functionally (GDIA, FCSD, Connected Vehicle, Quality, Marketing, Sales, etc) to efficiently operate within enterprise platforms and governance
• Identify, evaluate and manage third-party data partnerships that extend Ford Racing customer knowledge beyond internal sources (Wealth-X, WealthEngine and equivalents)
• Frame customer-related questions from internal teams, screen them against internal and external data for existing answers, and build new integrated data solutions where applicable
• Synthesize findings as narrated conclusions with clear implications supported in data, not raw outputs
• Stand up and maintain a Ford Racing customer knowledge repository to catalogue existing and future studies and findings
• Own privacy consent compliance for all Ford Racing customer data, including third-party sources

Qualifications

You'll have...

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related quantitative field or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
• Experience with Ford-held data across the enterprise (vehicle sales, service and repair order, connected vehicle, finance, merchandise sales, etc)
• Familiarity with third-party automotive and consumer data sources (S&P Global Mobility, J.D. Power, Experian, Wealth-X, syndicated consumer studies)
• 4–6 years of hands-on experience using data management and analytics (GCP/BigQuery, advanced SQL, Power BI or equivalent) to build, maintain and report from production data assets
• Demonstrated ability to operate across the full data spectrum- from strategy and problem framing, through solution design, to hands-on data engineering and analysis
• Working knowledge of data privacy and consent
• Experience establishing a knowledge management or research repository from scratch
• Comfort operating as the sole data resource in a function, building the capability rather than inheriting it
• Demonstrated ability to synthesize findings across disparate and sometimes conflicting sources into a clear, defensible point of view and recommendations

Even better, you may have...

• Master's degree in Data Science, Analytics, Business Analytics, or MBA
• Cloud/data platform certifications (e.g., Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer, given your GCP/BigQuery mention)
• Background in customer/marketing analytics or CRM data ecosystems

This position is leadership level 6 and ranges from $115,500-$218,100.

Final determination of salary grade will be based on candidate's skills and experience, and base salary will be set within the applicable range according to job scope, responsibility and competitive market value.
