Bindery Operator

CoWorx Staffing Services, in conjunction with a national printing company, is seeking Bindery Machine Operator. The Bindery Machine Operator is responsible for operating folder and cutter equipment, maintaining quality standards, troubleshooting equipment issues, and meeting production requirements in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Operate MBO folding equipment, including roll unwinder or sheet-fed systems.
• Perform job setups, including configuring counters, glue systems, and job-specific folds.
• Review and follow job tickets to ensure accurate production requirements are met.
• Operate straight knife cutter equipment.
• Monitor product quality to ensure compliance with company standards.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and make necessary adjustments.
• Perform routine maintenance and upkeep on machinery.

Desired Background/Skills:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of three or more years of bindery experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to set up and operate MBO folding equipment (roll-to-fold).
• Basic math skills, including the ability to read a ruler accurately.

Other Information:

• First and second shifts available.
• First shift: 6:00 AM–2:00 PM.
• Second shift: 2:00 PM–10:00 PM.
• Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods of time.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work long hours as required.
