RN - ICU

Registered Nurse - Neuro ICU (Nights)This is a 13-week contract position.Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (6:45 PM - 6:45 AM); every other weekend required.The Registered Nurse-Intensive Care Unit is responsible for the delivery of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation in a high-acuity Neuro ICU setting.Responsibilities:Coordinate all nursing care for patients based on established clinical nursing practice standards.Collaborate with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes.Contribute to the provision of quality nursing care through performance improvement techniques.Collect and analyze patient health data to identify problems and develop individualized plans of care.Implement interventions and evaluate patient progress toward attainment of expected outcomes.Assist with discharge planning and provide education to patients and significant others about illness and injury prevention.Maintain confidentiality of all information and perform additional duties as assigned.Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:Two years of experience preferred.Must be BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certified.Valid Oklahoma or Compact RN license required at the time of submission.Experience with EVD management, ventilator management, and stroke management.Charting experience with Epic is preferred.Why ARMStaffing?Health Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, and moreOnboarding Made Easy: We handle physicals, titers, and more so you can focus on careClinical Support: In-house clinical team available to assist and advocate401k Retirement Plan: Eligible after waiting period; 4% match with 5% contributionRecruiter Matching: Get paired with a recruiter based on your location and specialtyExtras: Travel reimbursement, housing allowance, meals, referral bonuses, and moreWe're not the only ones who think ARMStaffing should be your first choice.
