Our portfolio includes poultry, beef, egg, alternative protein, salt, oils, starches, sweeteners, cocoa and chocolate.Job Type: Full-time Shift(s) Available: Available for any shiftCompensation: $23.43/hr Sign on bonus: $1,500Benefits:Medical, Dental, Vision, and PrescriptionDrug InsuranceHealth and Wellness IncentivesPaid Vacation and Holidays401(k) with Cargill matching contributionsFlexible Spending Accounts (FSAs)Short-Term Disability and Life InsuranceEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)Tuition ReimbursementEmployee DiscountsPrincipal Accountabilities:Troubleshoot and operate packaging equipmentVerify and record production quantities produced and/or consumedCommunicate effectively with counterparts and management during shift exchangesEnsure product quality meets Food Safety guidelines and customer specifications at packagingPerform preventive maintenance on packaging equipmentUnderstand and adhere to all safety rules and regulationsMaintain a safe and clean work environmentPerform other duties as assignedRequired Qualifications:Must be eligible to work in the US without visa sponsorshipMust be 18 years or olderAbility to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)Basic use of a computerAbility to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions, which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above)Ability to perform physical job duties, which may include bending, lifting up to 50lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting, with or without a reasonable accommodationAbility to work overtime, including weekends, holidays, or different shifts with advance noticePreferred Qualifications:Minimum of 3 years of experience in manufacturing or prior military experience3 to 5 years of forklift operation experienceExperience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), such as SAPBasic experience in troubleshooting mechanical components and systemsAbility to operate machinery and industrial equipmentHigh School Diploma/GED, or a minimum of two years of relevant work experience
