• EGG LXIII in Costa Mesa, CA is looking for prep cook/line cook, and cashiers to join our winning team. We are located on 3333 S Bristol St. BLM 7, Costa Mesa, CA 92626. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, motivated, and reliable.

• PREP COOK/LINE COOK (Part-time/Full-time)

Responsibilities

• Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies

• Chop vegetables, prepare sauces and other food preparations

• Ability to learn and understand in order to execute recipes and new menus

• Cook items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff

• Clean up station

• Accurately handling food items to minimize waste

• Stock inventory

• Preparing mise en place for daily service

• Maintain a safe, sanitary and organized work environment

• Ability to reach, bend, stoop, climb up and down stairs, walk, and carry multiple objects

Qualifications

• Cooking experience or Back of the House experience preferred

• Able to meet all scheduling commitments

• Able to anticipate needs of others in the kitchen and proactively work to meet those needs

• Strong attention to detail

• Can lift up to 50 lbs.

• Proof of food handler certification and COVID-19 vaccination card prior to hiring

CASHIER (Part-time/Full-time)

Responsibilities

• Receive payment by cash and card

• Issue receipts, refunds, credits, or change due to guests

• Prepare drinks accordingly following guests order

• Answer guests’ questions and provide information on food items

• Stock shelves, and mark prices on POS system

• Maintain clean and orderly checkout areas as well as completing other cleaning duties, such as mopping floors and emptying trash bins

• May involve reaching, kneeling, stooping, and standing for long periods of time

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Ability to read and interpret instructions such as safety rules and procedural manuals

• No experience needed

• 1-2 years prior experience is a PLUS

• Basic math skills

• Proof of food handler certification and COVID-19 vaccination card prior to hiring
