Vice President, Business & Function Finance

BNY is seeking a highly motivated and execution-focused Vice President to drive strategic delivery and business execution across the Treasury Group. This role will partner closely with Product, Engineering, Operations, Data Management, Risk, and Treasury stakeholders to deliver critical business priorities, advance governance initiatives, and drive execution within the Product Operating Model (POM).The successful candidate will translate strategic objectives into measurable outcomes, align cross-functional teams, and drive delivery of complex initiatives that support Treasury's evolving business, regulatory, and operational objectives. The role requires strong execution leadership, stakeholder management, governance oversight, and operational discipline.In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways: Strategic Delivery & Business Execution• Lead execution of Treasury Group priorities and strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment to platform objectives, business outcomes, and enterprise goals.• Drive planning, prioritization, dependency management, risk mitigation, and delivery governance across multiple workstreams.• Partner with Product, Engineering, Operations, and business stakeholders to translate strategic objectives into actionable plans and measurable results.• Establish transparency through executive reporting, delivery metrics, issue management, and progress tracking.Treasury Reporting & Data Governance• Lead business execution efforts supporting Treasury Reporting data governance transformation initiatives.• Drive implementation of enhanced governance standards, ownership models, data quality controls, and reporting processes.• Partner with Data Governance, Technology, Operations, and Treasury stakeholders to improve data integrity, transparency, and regulatory readiness.• Ensure governance initiatives have clear accountability, defined milestones, and measurable business impact.Control Enhancement & Operational Readiness• Coordinate implementation of upstream data controls and process improvements that strengthen reporting accuracy and reduce operational risk.• Facilitate collaboration across source system owners, engineering teams, business partners, and control functions to resolve data and process gaps.• Lead issue remediation, dependency management, and implementation readiness for key business and regulatory initiatives.• Drive continuous improvement opportunities that enhance controls, efficiency, and scalability.Stakeholder Leadership• Serve as a trusted partner to Treasury leadership and key stakeholders across Product, Engineering, Operations, Risk, Compliance, and Finance.• Influence decision-making and drive alignment across teams operating within a complex and evolving environment.• Facilitate governance forums, leadership discussions, and executive communications to support informed decision-making and successful execution.Special Initiatives• Lead and support high-priority Treasury initiatives, transformation programs, regulatory efforts, and emerging business priorities.• Manage ad hoc business requests requiring cross-functional coordination, executive visibility, and rapid execution.• Support organizational change and adoption activities to ensure successful delivery and realization of business value.To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following: Required• 8+ years of experience in business execution, program delivery, product delivery, Treasury, Finance, Operations, Data Management, or related disciplines.• Demonstrated success leading complex cross-functional initiatives in large-scale financial services organizations.• Strong understanding of governance, controls, data management, and business process improvement.• Proven ability to drive execution, manage competing priorities, and influence stakeholders across organizational boundaries.• Exceptional communication, relationship management, and executive presentation skills.Preferred• Experience supporting Treasury, Liquidity Management, Regulatory Reporting, Corporate Treasury, or Finance organizations.• Experience operating within Product Operating Model (POM) or Agile delivery environments.• Knowledge of data governance frameworks, control modernization, and enterprise transformation initiatives.At BNY, our culture speaks for itself, check out the latest BNY news at BNY Newsroom & BNY LinkedIn Here’s a few of our recent awards:America’s Most Innovative Companies, Fortune, 2025World’s Most Admired Companies, Fortune 2025“Most Just Companies”, Just Capital and CNBC, 2025Our Benefits and Rewards:BNY offers highly competitive compensation, benefits, and wellbeing programs rooted in a strong culture of excellence and our pay-for-performance philosophy.
