Payroll Specialist

Starting Pay: $21.00 per hour during the probationary period, with a pay increase upon permanent hire.

• Process weekly and monthly payroll for hourly and salaried employees.
• Review employee time records, hours worked, and pay rates for accuracy.
• Calculate and process employee draws, weekly and monthly bonuses, and monthly commissions.
• Review flagged payroll items, exceptions, discrepancies, and transactions requiring additional verification or approval.
• Verify payroll changes, deductions, adjustments, and other compensation-related information.
• Research and resolve payroll discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate payroll records and supporting documentation.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of payroll processing or payroll administration experience.
• Experience managing or supporting weekly payroll cycles.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and data-entry accuracy.
• Ability to handle confidential information professionally.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
