Job Title: Wire Manufacturing Supervisor

Location: Onsite in Lewisville, TX - Manufacturing Environment
Schedule: Full-time, 40hrs per week (overtime as needed)

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Wire Manufacturing Supervisor to lead daily operations within a wire production environment. This role is responsible for overseeing personnel, equipment, and workflow to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on CNC experience along with strong leadership skills to drive productivity, quality, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Supervision

• Supervise, coach, and motivate team members to meet production, quality, and safety goals
• Coordinate staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation to meet daily targets
• Support hiring, performance management, and employee development initiatives
• Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement

Operations & Technical Oversight

• Oversee setup, programming, and operation of CNC wire forming and bending equipment
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and adjust machine parameters as needed
• Ensure proper installation, calibration, and maintenance of tools and machinery
• Monitor production processes to maintain efficiency and product quality

Quality, Safety & Continuous Improvement

• Ensure compliance with safety standards and operational procedures
• Inspect materials and finished products to ensure adherence to specifications
• Identify production issues and implement corrective actions
• Support LEAN initiatives and process improvement efforts

Training & Development

• Train and mentor team members on equipment, safety, and best practices
• Support onboarding and ongoing skill development for employees

Administrative Responsibilities

• Manage work orders, production documentation, and reporting
• Utilize ERP systems and Microsoft Office tools for tracking and reporting
• Maintain time and attendance records

Qualifications

Education & Experience:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Minimum 2+ years of manufacturing or production experience
• Minimum 2+ years of supervisory or leadership experience
• Experience with CNC programming, machine setup, or wire manufacturing preferred

Skills & Competencies

• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Hands-on experience with CNC equipment and manufacturing processes
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
• Solid math and analytical skills
• Effective communication and collaboration skills
• Mechanically inclined with ability to use hand tools
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment

Additional Requirements

• Ability to lift 30-50 lbs
• Reliable transportation
• Willingness to work overtime as needed
• Ability to pass pre-employment screening

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with LEAN manufacturing and continuous improvement
• Familiarity with OSHA and workplace safety standards
• Experience with wire forming, bending, or metal fabrication processes
• Bilingual abilities are a plus
