A typical day looks like:

* Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on light and medium duty pickup trucks, with a focus on GM Trucks. * Conduct thorough inspections to identify mechanical, electrical, and technical issues. * Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to accurately diagnose and troubleshoot vehicle problems. * Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and DOT Inspections. * Repair and replace components including engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension systems, and electrical systems. * Upfit vehicles according to customer specifications, including installing aftermarket accessories, lift kits, lighting systems, and utility racks. * Follow manufacturer guidelines and technical specifications for repairs, service procedures, and upfitting. * Keep accurate records of all maintenance, repair, and upfitting work performed on vehicles. * Communicate effectively with customers regarding vehicle issues, repair options, upfitting choices, and estimated costs. * Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks. * Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment. * Other duties as assigned.

Do you have what it takes?

* Proven experience as a mechanic specializing in light and medium duty pickup trucks, particularly GM Trucks. * Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and technical issues. * Strong knowledge of automotive systems and components. * Experience using diagnostic tools and equipment. * Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams. * Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. * Effective communication and customer service skills. * Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. * Experience in upfitting vehicles with aftermarket accessories and modifications is highly desirable. * Certification from a recognized automotive training program or equivalent experience is preferred. * Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
