Schedule: Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Pay Rate: $22.00 per hour

BG Staffing is currently seeking an experienced Apartment Maintenance Technician for a well-maintained residential community in Westerville, Ohio . Position Overview

The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance operations of the apartment community. This role requires hands-on experience, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently while meeting productivity expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on apartment homes and common areas
• Complete work orders efficiently and accurately, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, drywall, painting, and general repairs
• Prepare apartments for move-in/move-out (turns) in a timely manner
• Troubleshoot issues and make repairs with minimal direction
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Communicate professionally with property staff and residents as needed
• Follow all safety guidelines, policies, and procedures

Requirements

• Previous apartment maintenance experience is required
• Strong working knowledge of general maintenance trades (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, etc.)
• Ability to work independently and remain productive with limited supervision
• Proven ability to stay focused and avoid distractions during the workday
• Reliable transportation and punctual attendance
• Professional attitude and strong work ethic
