Job Summary:
Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) position located in Miami, Florida. This role entails providing specialized perioperative nursing services within a busy hospital setting, supporting various surgical cases including robotics, neuro, and orthopedic procedures. The OR RN will work on a day shift, facilitating smooth surgical operations and maintaining patient safety and comfort throughout procedures.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Dayshift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); at least 2 years of current experience in an acute hospital setting; strong experience in orthopedic, neuro, and robotics surgeries; willing to float to general operating room cases
• Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience with robotics/Da Vinci system, ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment, independent functioning skills
• Additional Information: Assist surgical teams during various procedures, prepare operating rooms, arrange equipment, inspect and maintain surgical tools and equipment, keep inventory records, and perform pre-and post-surgical equipment repairs. Scrubs are typically provided and color-coded for easy identification.
