**Job Title:** Registered Nurse **Job Specialty:** Labor & Delivery **Job Duration:** 26 Weeks **Shift:** 11.5 Hours, PM-AM (19:00-07:00), 36 or 40 hours per week. 36 hours = 3 shifts (7p-7a), 40 hours = 2 shifts (7p-7a), 2 shifts (11p-7a). Every other weekend. **Guaranteed Hours:** Not specified **Experience:** Not specified **License:** Registered Nurse (RN) **Certifications:** - NRPC- EFM (Fetal Monitoring Certification) - ACLS (Preferred for PACU Recovery) - BLS **Must-Have:** - Proficiency in Labor and Delivery - Nursery Care, Level I - Labor and Antepartum Triage - RN Circulator for Cesarean Sections - RN PACU for Cesarean Sections - GYN Post-Op Care - Lactation Services - Low Acuity Pediatric Care **Job Description:** - Work primarily in labor and delivery with a focus on women's and children's care. - Provide Level I and II obstetric services. - Conduct labor and antepartum triage assessments. - Serve as RN Circulator for cesarean sections. - Provide post-operative care in PACU for cesarean sections. - Deliver GYN post-operative care. - Offer lactation consultation and support. - Care for low acuity pediatric patients as needed. - Use systems including Obix for fetal monitoring and labor documentation, Athena for outpatient records and communication, and Meditech for inpatient documentation. - Manage operative patients with OR Manager, Anesthesia Manager, and Pisces systems. - The unit is primarily focused on labor and delivery with a very small pediatric inpatient population.
