Step into a dynamic educational setting providing impactful physical therapy services for K-12 students, including some Pre-K, in a school-based role located near Apopka, FL. This contract position begins August 3, 2026, and runs through May 28, 2027, and is ideal for dedicated Physical Therapists seeking a full-time schedule, or for those preferring flexibility—multiple part-time candidates can be considered to fulfill the needed hours. You’ll offer direct and indirect services, supporting student achievement across a diverse caseload.

What You Bring:

• Current, active Professional Physical Therapy Licensure in Florida
• Preferred: Previous experience in a school-based environment
• Comfort with delivering services across multiple school sites (2-3 campuses daily, drawn from 35 locations shared with a PT and PTA)
• Commitment to providing high-quality care to both general and special education populations
• Organizational skills to manage documentation, communication, and service delivery
• Clear, professional communication with staff, students, and families
• Availability for standard school hours (7:30am–4:00pm with a 30-minute lunch break), up to 40 hours a week (full-time), but flexible options for part-time
• Readiness to undergo a two-part onboarding process required for district credentialing

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver physical therapy services as outlined in student IEPs
• Assess, plan, and implement individualized treatment goals
• Consult and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Document progress and maintain compliance with school district and state requirements
• Adapt interventions across elementary, middle, and high school settings
• Regular travel to assigned schools within the district (itinerant schedule)
