Pharmacy Tech | Fishers, Indiana

An opportunity is available for an experienced Pharmacy Technician with a strong background in high-volume retail or mail order pharmacy settings. This position offers a contract-to-hire arrangement with an initial 26-week assignment, working primarily during day shifts, Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with the possibility of weekend hours as needed.

Position Location: Fishers, IN

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and dispense medication orders accurately in a busy mail order and specialty pharmacy environment
Maintain compliance with all pharmacy laws and standards, including Indiana state requirements
Manage inventory and documentation with precision to ensure uninterrupted service delivery
Collaborate effectively with pharmacists and other team members to support patient care and operational goals
Uphold reliability and professionalism to meet the demands of a high-volume workflow

Qualifications:

At least 2 years of current or very recent experience as a Pharmacy Technician
Proven background in high-volume retail or mail order pharmacy operations
Valid Indiana Pharmacy Technician license is mandatory
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
Dependable with excellent communication skills

Schedule:

Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
Possible weekend shifts as required
