Job Description
Physical Therapist (PT)

We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to join our team in a Short-Term Acute Care setting. This position requires working with a diverse range of cases and providing specialized rehabilitation services.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver exceptional patient care through various treatment modalities.
Manage and implement treatment plans for orthopedic, neuro, and surgical cases (pre and post-operative).
Perform soft tissue mobilization and instrument-guided soft tissue techniques.
Engage patients in therapeutic exercises and activities to promote recovery.
Conduct gait training and neuro re-education sessions.
Utilize manual therapy techniques to enhance patient outcomes.
Document patient progress and maintain accurate records using Cerner.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Physical Therapist.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
Pending state license accepted.
New graduates are encouraged to apply.

Work Schedule:

The position offers a 5x8 schedule from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with guaranteed hours of 40 hours in a workweek. Flexibility for scheduling can be discussed.

Additional Information:

The facility is closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's.
A crew will be scheduled for the day after major holidays, with some schedule flexibility.
Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays.
Free parking available for staff.
