Overview Pay Rate: $15.00/hour Schedule: 45-65 hours per week (overtime required) Location: Lubbock, TX Position Overview: We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Flux Core Welder to join our team. This position involves heavy welding in a fast-paced production environment and requires the ability to work extended hours, including overtime. Candidates must be comfortable working 45-65 hours per week as production demands fluctuate. Responsibilities: Perform flux core (FCAW) welding on structural steel and/or fabricated components Read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols Set up and operate welding equipment safely and efficiently Inspect welds to ensure quality and compliance with specifications Grind, clean, and prepare materials before and after welding Maintain a clean and organized work area Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines Skills and Experience Qualifications: Previous flux core welding experience required Ability to pass a weld test Ability to read a tape measure and blueprints Strong attention to detail and quality Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Willingness to work 45-65 hours per week Work Environment: Manufacturing/industrial setting Exposure to heat, sparks, fumes, and loud noise Steel-toe boots and appropriate PPE required Benefits Don't miss this chance to enhance your experience in a production environment while enjoying competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package.
