The Role 

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Community Marketing Intern to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting brand awareness and driving ticket sales by building relationships with local businesses, organizations, and community partners. Key contributions include coordinating promotional activations, managing social media collaborations, distributing marketing materials, and tracking campaign performance to increase event visibility, engagement, and ticket purchases.

Responsibilities

• Conduct market research to identify target audiences, local trends, and potential community partnerships.
• Build and maintain relationships with local businesses and community partners to expand brand awareness and event reach.
• Support day-to-day community marketing operations through administrative tasks and research strategies.
• Research and evaluate local businesses, organizations, newsletters, and potential partners for promotional collaborations.
• Assist in coordinating promotional campaigns, social media collaborations, giveaways to drive ticket sales.
• Work with the community marketing team to track marketing performance metrics, including social media reach, engagement, promotional code usage, and ticket sales.
• Identify new markets, partnership opportunities, and promotional strategies to strengthen community engagement and increase event attendance.

What You Bring

• Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to identify market trends, target audiences, and partnership opportunities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for community outreach, relationship building, and promotional marketing.
• Familiarity with social media platforms, particularly Instagram and Facebook, and digital marketing strategies.
• Proficiency in Google Suite for organizing research, tracking marketing metrics, and analyzing data.
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
• Passion for music, live events, and community engagement, with a strong desire to learn, grow, and build a career in the entertainment industry.
• Previous experience building relationships with local businesses, community organizations, campus groups, or promotional partners.
• Strong networking and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with diverse community stakeholders.
• Experience with community outreach, partnership development, or coordinating collaborative promotional opportunities.
