Installation and Service Technician – Deploy Multifamily Access Control and IP Camera SolutionsYou will serve as a vital field technician driving the deployment and reliability of our security technology solutions across expanding markets. Working closely with a collaborative team, you will directly ensure customer satisfaction while expanding your technical expertise. This position offers a direct path to build a long-term career with a rapidly scaling company focused on your personal development.Install, configure, and service complex access control systems including card readers, door hardware, and system controllers.Terminate, route, and troubleshoot low-voltage wiring for networked surveillance systems and security infrastructure.Diagnose technical hardware failures, wiring faults, and device communication performance issues in the field.Keep detailed documentation regarding customer contact and progress on various projects.Interpret architectural wiring diagrams, blueprints, and specific technical installation documentation to execute deployments accurately.Coordinate daily with project managers, field technicians, and multifamily property managers to complete scheduled service calls.Maintain clear and accurate documentation of completed on-site installations, infrastructure repairs, and preventative maintenance activities.Proven hands-on experience with low-voltage wiring practices and structural cabling installations.Solid technical understanding of access control systems and IP-based camera technology networks.Demonstrated ability to navigate and work collaboratively within a dedicated, team-oriented environment.Valid driver's license with a consistently clean driving record.Minimum of 3 years of experience in multifamily or commercial low-voltage security environments.High School Diploma or GED equivalent.Working knowledge of core networking fundamentals, including device connectivity and IP addressing.Manufacturer low-voltage or security industry technical certifications.Bi-Weekly Pay Cycle, Overtime Potential, Referral Bonus Program, and 401(k) with employer matching.Medical Insurance, Dental Insurance, Vision Insurance, and Life and Disability Insurance Options.Gym Memberships and all required Safety Equipment Provided.Paid Time Off including Holidays, Vacation, and Sick leave plus Paid Parental Leave.Travel Projects with per diem, Company Vehicle, and Uniforms Provided.Training and Certifications including Manufacturer training, OSHA, Fall Protection, and Lifts.Tech Package with a smartphone or tablet provided and a Personal Tool Replacement Program.Company Events and Annual Trips or Company Outings.Tetra is a rapidly growing provider of access control, video surveillance, and security technology solutions specializing in the multifamily housing industry.
