Position Details:

Discipline: General Education (Elementary)
Dates: August 3, 2026 – June 7, 2027
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM (Wednesdays are early-out)
Caseload: 5th/6th Grade Combination Classroom
Planning Time: 6.5 hours per week
Number of Openings: 1

General Education Teacher Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging, standards-based instruction to a 5th/6th grade combination classroom.
Differentiate instruction to meet the academic needs of diverse learners.
Foster a positive, inclusive, and structured classroom environment.
Collaborate with administrators, support staff, and families to promote student success.
Utilize planning time effectively to prepare lessons, assess student progress, and communicate with stakeholders.

Requirements:

Active California Multiple Subject Teaching Credential required.
Must be bilingual in Spanish.
BILA Authorization (formerly BCLAD Authorization) preferred as part of the teaching credential.

Interview Process:

10–15 minute screening call with a Spindle recruiter
20–30 minute virtual interview with the district
