Role Description The Regional Class A Driver role is a full-time remote position operating throughout assigned regional routes within the lower 48 states, with dispatch and support provided from the Greater Denver headquarters. Day-to-day responsibilities include safely operating Class A equipment, transporting freight using flatbed, dry van, or specialized trailers, and adhering to all federal, state, and company safety regulations. The driver will conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections, secure and tarp loads as required, maintain accurate logs and delivery documentation, and communicate proactively with dispatch regarding schedules, delays, and route changes. The role also involves interacting professionally with customers at pick-up and delivery locations, protecting company equipment and cargo, and contributing to on-time performance and high service standards. Drivers are expected to follow company policies, participate in periodic training, and support a culture of safety, respect, and accountability. Qualifications Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) and a clean driving record, with experience operating tractor-trailers on regional or long-haul routes. Demonstrated skills in safe driving practices, defensive driving, and compliance with DOT regulations, hours-of-service rules, and company safety policies. Experience with flatbed, dry van, or specialized equipment, including load securement, tarping, and basic cargo handling procedures. Strong time management and route planning abilities, with the capacity to meet delivery schedules and adapt to changing road or weather conditions. Professional communication skills for working with dispatch, customers, and team members, including clear documentation and use of electronic logging devices. Ability to work independently on the road, demonstrate sound judgment, and maintain a courteous, service-oriented approach with clients. Physical ability to perform essential job functions such as climbing, lifting, securing loads, and conducting equipment inspections in various environments.
