Details Acute care setting at a Critical Access Hospital (CAH) CT department equipped with 2 scanners — one in Outpatient and one in the ED Coverage provided across ED, inpatient, and outpatient areas Approximately 40 scans/studies performed per day Procedures include patient care across ED, inpatient, and outpatient settings; IV starts required EMR: Cerner (transitioning to Epic); PACS: Sectra Siemens CT equipment used 8-hour evening shifts Monday through Friday, with some weekend day or PM shifts Weekend and holiday coverage on a rotating basis with staff No on-call or standby requirement 13-week contract Requirements Minimum of 1 year of CT experience required Active BLS (AHA), ARRT (CT), and ARRT (R) certifications required License required if applicable 2 references required for consideration: 1 supervisor reference from within the last 12 months of relevant experience, and 1 peer or supervisor reference from within the last 3 years of relevant experience Additional Information Department is supervised by a Lead Tech; RRAs are not utilized Radiologists on-site until 10 PM, with tele/remote radiology coverage overnight Always 1 X-ray tech and 1 CT tech in-house, except during the overnight shift 1-week department-specific orientation provided Scrubs are not provided; no specific scrub color required Candidates who have previously worked at this facility must have an end date at least 6 months prior to their consideration date Candidates living within 80 miles of the facility are considered local and may be subject to a reduced travel pay rate Local candidates are accepted American Traveler Job ID #P-719831.
