This position offers the opportunity to manage sophisticated probate, guardianship, trust, and estate litigation matters while working in a collaborative and professional environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong litigation, estate planning, and probate administration experience, along with exceptional legal research, drafting, and client advocacy skills. Handle estate administration and probate proceedings. Draft and review legal documents including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, pleadings, and court filings. Conduct legal research using LexisNexis and Westlaw. Advise clients on estate planning strategies, asset distribution, and tax implications. Represent clients in probate litigation, hearings, mediations, and court proceedings. Negotiate settlements and assist with dispute resolution. Maintain accurate and organized case files and legal documentation. Collaborate with attorneys and support staff to ensure efficient case management and client communication. Provide guidance on related legal matters as needed, including family law, landlord-tenant law, personal injury, workers' compensation, immigration, securities law, environmental law, patent law, and tribal regulations. Qualifications Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. Active Florida Bar license required. Minimum 5 years of experience in probate, guardianship, trust litigation, and trial advocacy in Florida. Strong estate planning and probate administration experience. Proficiency with LexisNexis and Westlaw legal research platforms. Excellent legal drafting, negotiation, and courtroom advocacy skills. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication abilities. Ability to manage multiple complex matters in a fast-paced legal environment. Prior law firm experience preferred.
