Financial Analyst

Overview Reliance One is hiring for one of our trusted clients! We are seeking a detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join a dynamic Accounting team. This role is responsible for financial reporting, journal entries, budgeting, forecasting, internal controls, and business analysis that supports strategic decision-making across the organization. The ideal candidate is analytical, highly organized, and comfortable working in both an office and manufacturing environment while partnering with leaders across the business. Auburn Hills, Michigan $100,000 annually On-Site Direct Hire Opportunity What We Offer Direct Hire Opportunity Competitive Benefits Package Paid Time Off Paid Holidays Full-Time Position Key Responsibilities Prepare and post journal entries to support monthly financial reporting Review monthly financial information and ensure the accuracy and reasonableness of financial results Compare budgets and forecasts to actual performance and analyze variances Assist with the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts Support the design, implementation, and monitoring of internal controls, including end-user computing controls Review and summarize capital expenditure requests, evaluating the business case for proposed investments Develop financial models and analyses to support business decisions and operational improvements Prepare ad hoc financial reports and analyses for leadership and key stakeholders Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and internal control requirements Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field required CPA or equivalent professional designation preferred Strong understanding of accounting principles and internal control concepts Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio Experience with data analysis tools is a plus Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities and deadlines Strong organizational and time management skills Work Environment Combination of office and manufacturing environments Daily interaction with employees across multiple departments Ability to work on a computer for extended periods Ability to be present on the production floor as needed Overtime may be required based on business needs Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) Statement: Reliance One, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
