Summary of Position:
This position ensures that a high level of service is offered to our guests and to do all required to make their experience exceptional.
Essential Functions:
- Registering golfers for tee times and welcoming them to the golf club.
- Daily use of a computerized POS and tee time system
- Perform department opening and closing procedures
- Maintain overall cleanliness and organization of the pro shop
- Managing golf operations as requested.
- Merchandising and selling of golf merchandise.
- Assist with stocking merchandise, ring sales transactions using POS system, answering telephones, reserving tee times, checking in guests who are playing golf, and answering guests' questions about the golf club.
- Performs other duties as required.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Must be able to read, understand, and communicate effectively in English
- General golf knowledge
- Must demonstrate exceptional guest service and public relations skills
- Must be able to perform professionally in a high volume, high profile, demanding environment
- Basic computer skills
- Experience with computerized POS and tee time system is a plus.
Physical Requirements
Constant standing, walking, reaching, grasping, seeing, hearing, talking. Frequent bending, stooping, pushing/pulling/lifting in excess of 50 pounds.
