Assistant Manager

Assistant Manager Responsibilities The Assistant Manager is responsible for running a profitable restaurant and ensuring that the restaurant meets McDonald’s critical customer standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. The Assistant Manager works with the General Manager to set restaurant goals and create a plan to achieve them. To meet these goals, the Assistant Manager leads a team of Department Managers, helping them set goals, follow up on progress, and providing coaching and direction to improve their departments. Improving departments drives overall restaurant performance. The Assistant Manager may also be responsible for hiring and developing Department and Shift Managers to build the right future leadership team. Qualifications Ideal candidates should have previous Assistant Manager experience running high‑volume locations. A background in quick‑service restaurants is strongly desired, or experience in hospitality or retail. You must be 18 years or older to serve as a manager in our franchise restaurants.
