This facility operates as part of a large health care system with multiple cancer center sites, providing specialized hematology and oncology services to the regional adult patient population. The facility is structured to support coordinated oncologic care delivery within an on-site outpatient setting. Clinical operations are designed to facilitate quality hematologic and oncologic care throughout the covered assignment period.

Venues such as the Akron Art Museum and Lock 3 Park provide year-round programming for visitors. Clinicians will provide on-site outpatient hematology and oncology coverage in Akron, Ohio, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with time designated at the end of each day for note completion. Clinical responsibilities encompass patient exams, treatment planning, chemotherapy prescribing, and documentation and billing, managing 14-18 patients per day with no call obligations. This is a solo position covering both hematology and oncology for an adult patient population. All clinical documentation must be maintained through the EPIC EMR system for patient encounters and treatment planning activities.
