Imagine joining a safety-first team where your Class A expertise keeps materials flowing between our Chelmsford production plant and warehouse. You’ll blend skilled driving with careful material handling, all while supporting Food Safety and Food Defense standards that protect every product we touch.

Role impact

In this hybrid position, you’ll split time between the yard and the warehouse—transporting loads locally, staging and securing pallets, and documenting every move so inventory stays accurate and production stays on schedule.

Compensation & schedule

• Compensation: $35.00 per hour and up (DOE), paid bi-weekly
• Schedule: 10:00am–6:00pm, Monday–Friday
• Additional hours: Some weekends and overtime as needed

How you’ll contribute

• Model safe work practices, wear required PPE, and maintain constant awareness on the floor.
• Keep the workspace tidy and organized to enable efficient, safe movement.
• Load, unload, and shuttle materials within production/warehouse areas and to/from our satellite warehouse.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment once trained and certified.
• Document inventory movements with accuracy and clarity.
• Team up to meet production and shipping commitments.
• Report product damage, labeling issues, and stock discrepancies promptly.
• Adhere to all Food Safety and Food Defense requirements.
• Complete monthly computer-based and classroom safety trainings.
• Support the team with additional duties as assigned.

What it takes to succeed

• Experienced Class A CDL driver with a current medical certificate.
• Strong communicator in English and/or Spanish (verbal and written).
• High school diploma or equivalent; confident with basic arithmetic.
• Detail-focused, with excellent hand–eye coordination.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems preferred.
• Willingness to work overtime when needed.

Physical demands & setting

• Active role: walking, standing, and lifting for up to 90% of the workday.
• Routinely lift up to 50 lbs; bend, stoop, twist, and reach as tasks require.
• Typical manufacturing/warehouse environment with seasonal heat/cold and equipment noise.

Core proficiencies

• Driver's License
• Forklift Licensed
• Current CDL License
