About MultiCare Cancer Institute MultiCare Cancer Institute is a physician‑led, multi‑specialty group within MultiCare Health System providing integrated hematology, oncology, radiation, surgical and supportive care throughout Washington state. Position Summary We’re seeking a staff RN to join our hospital‑based team. This role employs specialized training, knowledge and nursing care within a multidisciplinary approach. The position is a day shift, core business hours. Responsibilities Organize patient care by prioritizing, delegating, delivering and evaluating on an ongoing basis. Use the nursing process per hospital policies, procedures and protocols. Collaborate with the nursing team to improve quality of care, patient experience and cost reduction. Foster a learning environment for patients/families, nursing staff and health care team members. Advocate for ethical and holistic care, promoting the autonomy, dignity and health of patients from diverse ethnic and social backgrounds. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (or within five years from hire); RN with 15+ years of service or internal candidates hired before January 1, 2021 may be considered. Advanced degree in Nursing (MSN, PhD, DNP, ARNP) preferred. Registered Nurse license (RN) in Washington State or multi‑state licensure endorsement (MSL). Current BLS certification required. ACLS or NALS or PALS or TNCC or NRP certification, as required by facility or department. Certification in specialty area preferred. One year of experience in acute care setting preferred. Pay and Benefit Expectations The pay scale is $44.13 – $85.17 USD. Salary is influenced by skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) or education.
