Join Gilead and help create possible, together.Job DescriptionAs a Senior Manager, Global HIV Prevention Medical Affairs at Gilead, you will work under the direction of Global HIV Medical Affairs leadership and support the HIV Global Medical Affairs team in the delivery of strategically aligned medical educational activities and other relevant projects and ensure consistency and efficiency in the delivery of all relevant departmental operations and processes.This is an office-based (hybrid- 3 days onsite) role in Foster City, CAKey Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):Exchange complex clinical and scientific information with stakeholders within liver disease and oncologyRespond to and document unsolicited requests for scientific informationEstablish and maintain ongoing scientific collaborative relationships with Key Thought Leaders (TLs)Conference coverage (national and international) including staffing exhibits, reporting on scientific sessions, and facilitating meetings with KTLsProvide clinical/scientific presentations to internal and external groupsProvide support for content development and delivery of Advisory BoardsWork closely with other teams to rapidly respond to questions, issues, etc. from sitesBasic Qualifications:Bachelor's degree with Eight Years' of experienceORMaster's degree with Six Years' of experiencePreferred Qualifications:· Degree in biomedical sciences (PharmD, MD or equivalent degree, PhD)· Expertise in hepatology/viral hepatitis or endocrinology/the metabolic syndrome is preferred· Previous experience in pharmaceutical industry or related healthcare field is preferred· Experience of working in Israel, including knowledge of national regulatory requirements· Must be committed to continuing education to maintain knowledge base· Strong interpersonal skills including excellent verbal and written communication· Proven ability to work in a cross-functional matrix· Ability to travel frequently, occasionally with short notice· Driving licensePeople Leader Accountabilities: Create Inclusion - knowing the business value of diverse teams, modeling inclusion, and embedding the value of diversity in the way they manage their teams. Gilead considers a variety of factors when determining base compensation, including experience, qualifications, and geographic location. These considerations mean actual compensation will vary. This position may also be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, discretionary stock-based long-term incentives (eligibility may vary based on role), paid time off, and a benefits package.
