• Full-time, in-person position (40 hours per week) working on-site with a caseload of 21-22 students.
• Part-time, virtual position also available, specifically assisting students at alternative placements.

The assignment runs through May 27, giving you the chance to provide ongoing support and continuity to students and staff.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid Special Education Teaching credential.
• Recent experience working with high school students, especially in special education settings.
• Understanding of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring.
• Comfortable with technology and virtual teaching platforms (for part-time/remote candidates).
• Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver specialized instruction to students, adapting curriculum and teaching strategies to individual needs.
• Prepare and maintain accurate, compliant, and timely IEP documentation.
• Collaborate with general education staff, related service providers, families, and administration.
• Provide virtual instruction and support for students at alternative placements (as applicable).
• Monitor student progress, participate in IEP meetings, and contribute to overall program effectiveness.
