Surgical Technologist

Plays a vital role in supporting surgeons and the surgical team before, during, and after surgical procedures. Assist in providing quality care to the surgical patient. Responsible for the general maintenance of equipment, room and supplies under the direction of the Registered Nurse (RN). Performs scrub duties and assists in maintenance of instruments, equipment and supplies. Demonstrates Service Excellence at all times. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

High School Diploma/GED Vocational/Technical School/Diploma Associate's degree Bachelor's Degree Master's Degree Other: Accredited School of Technical Training

REQUIRED LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRATION

Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

Minimum of one (1) year of Surgical Technologist experience
