Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at Sunrise Point Health and Rehab, a leading provider of short-term rehabilitation, long-term care, and respite services in Rockledge, FL. As a valued member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care across all shifts, including full-time and part-time opportunities. Responsibilities: Assist patients with daily activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote independence and dignity

Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates, accurately using electronic health record (EHR) systems

Support medical procedures by preparing patients and assisting with tasks like catheter care, wound care, or medication administration under supervision

Maintain a safe environment by practicing proper manual handling techniques and utilizing equipment like Hoyer lifts for patient transfers

Document patient information thoroughly in medical records, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintaining confidentiality

Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care plans and address individual needs

Requirements: Proven experience working with diverse populations, including geriatrics, pediatrics, individuals with developmental disabilities, dementia or Alzheimer’s disease, and those requiring memory or hospice care

Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems such as PCC for accurate documentation of patient care activities

Knowledge of medical terminology, vital signs assessment, and basic anatomy to support clinical tasks confidently

Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while adhering to safe lifting practices during patient transfers or equipment handling

Strong caregiver communication skills to effectively interact with patients experiencing complex conditions

Florida Background Screening Requirement: This position requires a Level 2 background screening through the Florida Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) Clearinghouse in accordance with Florida law.
