This Labor and Delivery travel nurse position in Olympia, Washington, with Advantis Medical is a 13-week Travel Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) contract at Providence - St. Peter. This role pays $1,970 per week and follows a Nights shift with a 3x12 schedule.
As the Labor and Delivery registered nurse on this assignment, you'll assess maternal and fetal well-being, interpret fetal heart-rate patterns, guide patients through every stage of labor, birth, and recovery, and respond to obstetric emergencies as they arise.
Advantis Medical supports travel clinicians with streamlined credentialing to help with fast start dates, free license support and renewals, and Day 1 benefits.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and interpret maternal and fetal status, including electronic fetal monitoring, escalating concerns promptly
- Support patients through labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum recovery
- Administer medications and manage IV therapy, including oxytocin titration as ordered and per facility protocol
- Provide immediate newborn care and support neonatal resuscitation per NRP guidelines
Travel Nursing Requirements
- 2+ years of recent Labor and Delivery nursing experience
- Active Washington RN License
