This role is ideal for a seasoned public accounting professional with deep expertise in high-net-worth individual and general corporate tax, strong leadership capabilities, and a proven ability to develop client relationships. Directors operate at a Partner-equivalent level, without equity, and are expected to contribute meaningfully to firm strategy and business development. At MGO, you’ll find flexibility, meaningful career growth, and the opportunity to help build what’s next.Key Responsibilities:Lead and review complex HNW individual, corporate, and general tax engagementsServe as primary client advisor and representative on advanced tax matters and noticesOversee multiple engagements simultaneously, ensuring quality, timeliness, and profitabilityMentor, develop, and evaluate professionals across technical and leadership competenciesDrive business development initiatives, identify new opportunities, and expand existing client relationshipsProvide firm leadership through example, collaboration, and accountabilityQualifications:Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s strongly preferredCPA required10+ years of public accounting experience, including 5+ years in a leadership roleDemonstrated success in client development, staff leadership, and managing complex engagementsStrong technical, analytical, and interpersonal skillsAbility to travel, including overnight, as neededCompensation:Director: $180,000 – $250,000 + Earn up to 15% of your base salary with a perfomance based bonus program.#LI-HybridJob SummaryJob Locations: US-CA-Los AngelesJob Category: TaxJob Type: Regular Full-Time
