WHAT YOU WILL DO

As a Project Manager, you'll focus on the internal execution and delivery of SPARK's projects. You'll lead project planning, coordinate internal resources, and ensure deliverables meet scope, timeline, and budget expectations. Your day-to-day will revolve around managing workflows, optimizing resource allocation, maintaining visibility into progress and risks, and driving projects toward successful completion.

This role emphasizes project ownership, task organization, and delivery excellence, ensuring every project runs smoothly and predictably from kickoff to handoff. Marketing knowledge helps you speak the language of the work, but the core of this role is running the delivery engine behind it.

Some travel may occasionally be required to meet with clients and project teams.

• Lead internal project planning, execution, and delivery of marketing projects.
• Own budget, scope, and timeline for every project you run, ensuring efficiency and profitability.
• Collect and structure available data impacting the project and work with the project team to ensure alignment and deliver the scoped project.
• Build and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and task boards.
• Update backlog and resource planning weekly to maintain accurate forecasts.
• Facilitate sprint planning, standups, retrospectives, and internal project reviews.
• Identify risks early, implement mitigation strategies, and escalate when needed.
• Ensure deliverables are accurate, tested, and ready for client review.
• Partner with the Account Manager to provide regular updates to stakeholders.
• Own, maintain, and share project documentation for transparency and accountability.
• Seek opportunities to improve workflows, tools, and team efficiency.

WHAT YOU NEED

• 3+ years of project management or delivery experience, ideally within a marketing, creative, or digital agency environment.
• Demonstrated ownership of project budget, scope, and timeline, with a track record of keeping delivery on schedule and profitable.
• Experience in a software or digital agency environment, working across multiple concurrent clients or projects.
• Background in agile, hybrid, or waterfall project management methodologies.
• Experience in a software or digital agency environment.
• Strong organizational, scheduling, and resource management skills.
• Familiarity with project management tools (Teamwork, Jira, Asana, or equivalent).
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to balance multiple projects and competing priorities.
• Marketing domain knowledge or experience.

NICE TO HAVE

• BA in Marketing or relevant industry experience.
• Experience in manufacturing, construction, or healthcare software projects.
• Certifications (PMP, CSM, or equivalent).

SALARY RANGE

$70,000 - $75,000 annually
