Data & AI Product Owner - ITS

SUMMARY Mortenson is currently seeking a Data & AI Product Owner - ITS that will be responsible for coordinating and leading all activities related to application support in a technical environment; responsible for the management and improvements to the processes and systems web-based applications.RESPONSIBILITIESPlan, schedule, and coordinate activities related to a scheduled release cycleMaintain big picture comprehensive view of entire portfolio and make decisions with company interest in mindConsult and mentor technical resources concerning methods, procedures, and standards to be used during design, development, and unit testing phases of system changes or enhancement projectsCommunicate issues and status information to the Application Services Manager concerning system activities and schedule releasesFacilitate communication of training needs for team members to the Application Services managerWork with end-users, other IT technical resources and/or Support to troubleshoot problems and resolve applications issuesIdentify enhancement solutions and develop plans to implementInvestigate solutions for Change Requests and present functional and technical optionsFunction as resident team expert for the technical environment Partner with functional owners to ensure the health and stability of the technical environmentMaintain a technical roadmap Effectively work and build relationships with those of diverse backgrounds and organizational levels All other duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONSKnowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesStrong analytical and problem solving skillsStrong interpersonal and communication skills and a positive attitudeAbility to manage schedules and prioritize work accordinglyDesire to broaden technical, functional, and analytical skillsStrong teamwork orientationPositive attitude and professional customer service skillsKnowledge of Microsoft development toolkitsStrong detail orientationActive listening skills and effective communication including an openness to diverse input and feedbackEducation and Experience RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, related field, or equivalent experienceMinimum seven years’ experience in ITPrevious experience leading a team, including delivering performance feedbackProject Management certification preferredExperience with Oracle EBS, 12.1.3., 12.2.5 preferredExperience with project management methodology including Scrim/Agile and Waterfall preferredExperience capturing client requirements and developing business cases preferredExperience and basic understanding of ITIL methodologies preferred Experience in analytical, project management, and client facing work preferredEssential Physical RequirementsThis position requires the following with or without an accommodation; sitting, seeing, hearing, and utilization of a computer and office equipment. (Actual range is higher for the following office locations: Denver, CO and Chicago, IL – 5%, Seattle, WA, and Portland, OR – 10%, Washington, D.C. – 12.5%).
