Security Systems Technician

Our Security System Technicians are the face of Siemens, ensuring the safety and efficiency of our Smart Buildings. You will be responsible for installation, programming, start‑up, and commissioning of state‑of‑the‑art integrated security systems—cctv, ip cameras, alarm sensors, access control devices, and software platforms. Responsibilities Participate in operational testing, verification, acceptance and detailed reporting, including customer acceptance and system operation reviews. Assist in customer training on system operations. Identify code and non‑conformance issues and recommend installation solutions. Support project site communication and coordination, including scheduling trade contractors for start‑up services when needed. Qualifications Basic Qualifications: 1+ year of experience in installation/maintenance of large‑scale integrated security systems. Demonstrated understanding of network components and workstation/server operating‑system management. Ability to work in varied environments: mechanical equipment, ladders, scaffolds, ducts, high‑lifts, heat/cold, day/night; use hand tools, laptop, email, smartphone, tablet; carry up to 50 lbs. Minimum 18 years of age with a valid driver’s license. Legally authorized to work in the U.S. permanently without sponsorship. Preferred Qualifications: High school diploma or GED; associate degree in electronics or related field preferred. 3+ years experience with large‑scale integrated security system installation/maintenance. Ability to read/understand design and construction documents. Benefits Siemens offers a variety of health and wellness benefits. Pay range: $49,195 – $84,334 annually. Pay offered may vary based on budget and candidate experience, skills, qualifications, and geographic location.
